“Jammal Mann” College Scholarship Recipients

ZION RUFFIN

From 2011 to 2016, Zion attended Rising Stars Summer Camp. Zion and his family have been instrumental in the expansion of Rising Stars by assisting with fundraising and advertising.

Zion Will be majoring in Game Design and Development Engineering at Sacred Heart University.

AMAYA SHORT

In 2018, Amaya volunteered at Rising Stars Summer Camp. She served as our Lead Assistant Dance Coach from 2019 till the present.

Amaya will be a pre-physical therapy student at Hampton University, majoring in kinesiology.

Rising Stars Shoutouts ...

Ravyn spent the summers of 2013 and 2014 at Rising Stars Summer Camp. From 2017 to 2018, she also volunteered. She has been working as our Assistant Dance Coach since 2018.

Ravyn will attend Florida A&M University and major in Biology and Pre-Medicine.

RAVYN NICOLE TRAVERS

NAKIYAH JACKSON

From 2011 to 2016, Nakiyah attended Rising Stars Summer Camp. From 2017 to 2018, she actively volunteered. She worked as a junior counselor and assistant baseball/softball coach from 2018 to 2019, and she is now our Head Baseball/Softball Coach.

Nakiyah will be a pre-med student at Hampton University, where she will major in Kinesiology.
